As we scale, we’re looking for a passionate Customer Success Specialist to help users get the most out of SortMe and champion their success from day one.

About the Role

As a Customer Success Specialist, you’ll be the frontline guide for new SortMe users—helping them onboard, understand our tools, and build confidence in managing their money through our platform. You’ll own the onboarding process end-to-end, from welcoming new clients to providing tailored walkthroughs via video calls.

You’ll also play a crucial role in closing the feedback loop: gathering user insights, identifying patterns, and reporting them clearly to Product and Leadership. Your work will directly shape our roadmap and the way we serve customers.

This role is ideal for someone who is energised by helping people, confident in reaching out proactively, and eager to contribute to a mission-driven startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

Client Onboarding & Support

  • Lead personalised onboarding sessions with clients via video call, ensuring they understand how to get value from SortMe.
  • Guide users through account setup, features, best practices, and financial workflows within the platform.
  • Provide responsive, empathetic customer support across channels (email, chat, calls).
  • Manage onboarding pipelines and ensure clients complete required steps on time.

User Engagement

  • Proactively reach out to new and existing users to encourage engagement and answer questions.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted partner on their financial journey.
  • Identify users who may need extra support and offer tailored guidance.

Insights & Reporting

  • Collect, organise, and synthesise user feedback from onboarding calls, support interactions, and surveys.
  • Present clear, structured feedback to Product, Design, and Leadership to help shape features, UX improvements, and messaging.
  • Track onboarding metrics, customer satisfaction trends, and common friction points.

Process Improvement

  • Continuously refine onboarding workflows and customer success processes.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve tools and documentation.
  • Help build scalable systems for customer education as SortMe grows.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in customer success, customer support, client onboarding, or a similar user-facing role.
  • Strong communication skills—comfortable hosting video calls and translating complex concepts into simple, friendly language.
  • Confident proactively reaching out to users and managing ongoing communication.
  • Highly organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple onboarding workflows simultaneously.
  • Empathetic, patient, and passionate about helping people succeed.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment.
  • Experience in fintech or personal finance is a plus, but not required.
